Technopark Phase 3 – Status, New, Jobs & Updates
Technopark Phase 3 is the 3rd leg of development of Trivandrum’s IT corridor. The two towers here, Ganga and Yamuna, were inaugurated in January 2014. The park is located 5-10 minutes away from the Technopark main campus and gained access to the newly built 6-lane national highway, by mid-2017. Technopark Phase 3 houses India’s largest office building and the park spreads over 100 acres. Larsen and Toubro have revealed their plans to establish an IT-Residential park here in the near future. More investment by other companies in the park is also expected.
Technopark Phase 3, like Phase 1 and Phase 2, is classified as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Here, the buildings look striking; the two towers are cloaked in glass and slope to one side. The infrastructure, needless to say, is some of the best in the world.
Technopark Phase 3 Awards
The park was presented the ICI (Indian Concrete Institute) award for Outstanding Concrete Structure, in 2013, and also the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Gold rating) from the IGBC, the same year.
Making Work a Pleasure
Technopark Phase 3, with its green lawns and unique design, aims to make work a pleasurable experience. A new age shopping mall, multiplexes, and more are currently in the pipeline. A 15 thousand square feet wide food court is being built now. It will be able to serve 400 people at the same time.
In a few years’ time, Technopark is expected to create up to 2 lakh jobs in Technopark Phase 3. Technopark Phase 3 is easily approachable via the national highway (Trivandrum – Kollam) or via the Sreekaryam-CET-Kulathur road. The establishment of Phase 3 has already catalyzed the birth of many local businesses like restaurants and apartments in the Kazhakoottam-Kulathur area.
Investments, Apartments and more in Trivandrum
Also, the construction industry in Trivandrum is booming and there are many apartments in Trivandrum technopark nearing handing over stage.
Technopark Phase 3 currently has its space being used by some of the big names in the IT realm of Trivandrum, such as QBurst and Allianz, and is expected to draw in more in the years to come.
